Our History
Westside GMC was formed a few years ago when Pikes Peak UMC and Trinity UMC merged into Westside Global Methodist Church. We are affiliated with the Global Methodist denomination.

Our Beliefs
As part of the Global Methodist denomination, we believe in the inerrancy of the Bible and teach its principles as our guide for Christian living. THE MISSION of the GMC is to make disciples of Jesus Christ and spread scriptural holiness across the globe. Through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, the Global Methodist Church envisions multiplying disciples of Jesus Christ throughout the earth who flourish in scriptural holiness as we worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly.
We are excited to meet you! From left to right: From the bayou - Paul Guffey, serves as our pastor. Susie Lewis runs HQ and offers day-to-day support for all things Westside. Shane (aka, Shaggy) Hartley provides support and help in a multitude of ways around the church. (We couldn't do it without him!) Matt Richey leads our Food Pantry ministry which feeds hundreds each week. Gary Cheesman is our Building Supervisor and serves Westside with an amazing talent for fixing stuff.
Ruth Richey serves as our Outreach Ministry Director. Ruth has tremendous gifts and a heart for seeing people grow in their relationship with Jesus. She leads our efforts in so many ways, from children's ministry to annual outreach gatherings like Kids Easter Gathering to Fall Festival. We feel so blessed to have Ruth leading and using her gifts at Westside.
